CHILDREN’S BREAD by Pastor Paul Locke for loxland.com 18/11/2016
Syrophoenician Woman was able to tap into the miracle healing power of Jesus through insistence. (Mt 15:28) Gentiles are outside the Covenant of relationship with God; however this is an example of knowing who the healer is. I say to people seeking healing of their body or wallet, “Do you believe that Jesus can heal?” If they say yes, I place my hand on them and say, “My job is to believe that He will, so be healed in the name of Jesus.” (Mk 16:17-18)
Christians are Jews by faith in Jesus Christ and therefore entitled to the Children’s Bread. (Rom 2:29) Many Christians wonder why their prayers are not being answered. (Mal 3:10) Offerings to God are Seed offerings and God provides seed to the sower. We are to name our seed because apple seed brings apples. Your time is valuable and can be your tithe or offering to God. If you want healing, then minister healing to others as seed for your miracle.
Orderly Supply is sowing and reaping for it is written, “Whatsoever you sow, so shall you reap.” (Gal 6:7) If you sow sparingly, then you will reap sparingly. Prayer is the water of the Word and will move the hand of God to do the impossible. Christians with a need must sow a seed and make their need known to God and man through prayer. (2Cor 9:10) God uses man as His instrument and will speak to them to help, for it is more blessed to give than receive.
Quote the Word is essential with God who said, “My word goes out and accomplishes and does not return void.” (Isa 55:11) Remember the Devourer listens to your prayers and looks for loopholes to legally block access to your fortune. We overcome him by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of Testimony and not fear death. This means we have the right Spirit and if you do not, then do something about it, be Born Again with the Holy Spirit. (Jhn 3:3-5)
Rejoice in the Lord always. (Php 4:4-7) We are commended by prayer, petition, and thanksgiving to present our requests to God. I like to remember the God whose name is “I Am, that I Am” revealing Himself in our time as Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the Head of the Church who brings all things to completion that He has started. For forty years in the wilderness the Israelites were kept safe, fed, and healed: (Acts 7:36) and He can do it for you.
