DISPLAY by Pastor Paul Locke for loxland.com 27/12/2016
World View is perception of a display of the physical appearance of our surroundings. Fame and fortune seem to be the measure used to denote good and the ‘cut of his jib’ the outward appearance is also a similar measure. (Jhn 7:24) The shortcomings of the rich seem to be overlooked in appraising their character. Man is made in the image of God (Gen 1:27) who is comprised of three persons but only the flesh is seen by common man while the eternal Spirit and Soul remain invisible.
Godhead is one god revealed to man as three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit biblically described as Lord, Jesus, and Christ. God is Spirit and God is Love. (1Jhn 4:16) The Messiah was displayed as Jesus in the flesh but now the Holy Spirit the Ghost of Jesus remains with us and remains as Messiah for the Jews. The inseparable Godhead Trio remains as one god but revealed himself in the flesh to become the Sacrificial Lamb of God to forgive sin. (Jhn 1:29)
Supernatural is God on display and the show is according to His purpose. Accreditation of Jesus was through miracles, signs, and wonders and God works through man in the same way. (Jhn 3:2) A Congo Pastor lost favour because he listened to the words of visiting Scottish missionaries who ‘touched the Lord’s Anointed’. (Mtt 15:14 & 1Sam 26:9) The display was that all the missionary team fell violently ill and miracles ceased, so repent and ask forgiveness from turning away from the Lord.
Warning to the world will be the display of the missing Saints, us, when we are lifted up to be with the Lord. (1Thes 4:16-18) So many believers are not Born Again and do not have the Holy Spirit reminding them of the imminent rapture of the Church. May they have no peace and our dear Holy Spirit double the effort to get them to repent and seek Baptism of the Holy Spirit. If you do not believe for the rapture being pre-tribulation then you will remain and suffer until the second rapture. (Rev 7:14)
Greatest Display will be Jesus’ second coming with a mighty army to defeat the two hundred million army in the valley of Armageddon. We can be with Him when he returns if we become new creations in God. (2Cor 5:17) We should seek that the Glory of God manifest or be on display in us as a sign to the world around us. (Col 1:27-28) The rapture of the Church is the first resurrection that carries with it the great blessings of God.
