EQUIPPED by Pastor Paul Locke for loxland.com 21/04/2017
Speaking Spirit was given a flesh body Adam and placed in the Garden of Eden with power to rule on earth. (Gen 1:28-29) This authority was established by God and the billions of angelic beings cast down to earth were powerless until the fall of Adam when Satan usurped his power. Conditional restoration of power to mankind was given to believers in the Blood of Jesus Christ an innocent man crucified by Satan. Power is exercised by faith in the name of Jesus. (Jhn 17:11b)
Power in Tongue for it is written “the power of life and death is in the tongue.” (Prov 18:21) We are warned to watch what we say because we will be held accountable for our words. (Jas 1:26) A loser is a person who does not understand that Satan and his demons watch us closely waiting for a slip of the tongue and act on any negative words we say. Speak life into your family, your finances, your health, your relationships with others, for God is with you so who can be against you?
New Covenant began after the Crucifixion and exists alongside the Old Covenant. (Rom 4:16) Those in the New Covenant by faith in Jesus Christ have the privilege of the power and authority to rule and reign on earth for God. All things are possible for those who believe and the prayers of a righteous man availeth much. God has given power to create wealth and those not Born Again by the Spirit of God lack this knowledge given as a gift of God. (1Cor 12:8)
Begging is the negative expression of faith in God to keep promises and gives the thief license to take what little you have. (Jhn 10:10) Making your needs known is fine but to repeat a request is begging that cancels out your prayers. Being a wise steward of God’s money is to include God in decision making and puts legs to the words, “it is more blessed to give than to receive.” God will meet all your needs according to His Glorious riches in Christ Jesus. (Php 4:19)
Seed has the power of creation in it and it must be sown to work. Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies it produces many seeds.” (Jhn 12:24) Oral Roberts said, ‘If you have a need sow a seed.’ This is confirmed remembering that the Widow of Zarephath gave her last and was then prepared to die. (1Kngs 17:15-16) But God did supply her needs as well as raising her son to life.
