Exclusiveness in reality is prejudice practiced by such people as religious sects, racial purists, freemasons and the like who are under the curse of the Mosaic Law. Being inclusive refers to the Children of God through Jesus Christ and it is written, “…with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.” (Rev 5:9-10) Being exclusive is promoting the sin of pride, greed, and hate.
Understanding the purpose of the Law prepares Evangelists in sharing their faith. Consider the Covenants of Grace that God made with Adam, Noah, Abraham, David, and then the New Covenant. Grace blessed and corrected the world as opposed to the Mosaic Laws that cursed. (Lev 26:14) God’s anger burned at the Israelites and wanted to kill them in the wilderness, instead cursed them with the Law that could not be kept. Jews and all people like them have been and are still cursed. Cursed people can choose to move from Law to Grace through the New Covenant.
Jews who are
blinded to the truth can change from Law to Grace if they act with Abrahamic
type faith in Jesus, for it is written “…God
will provide himself a lamb…” (Gen 22:8)
John the Baptist a prophet said of Jesus, “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of
the world.” (Jhn 1:29) All that was
written about the Messiah is fulfilled in Jesus Christ of Nazareth whom the
Jews sacrificed on a cross in
The guilt that the Jews felt on the day of Pentecost upon hearing Apostle Peter preach was a blessing because they asked, “Men and brethren what shall we do?” Peter said, “Repent and be baptised every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” (Acts 2:37-38) The inclusiveness of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on that day was evidenced by the reference to the languages those from different places heard. The Gospel is universal and has the power to touch the hearts of all unbelievers.
Everybody has to go through Jesus because He said, “No one comes to the Father except through me.” After receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit we know through revelation that Jesus is part of the Triune Godhead, “Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” Finally it is written, “Wherefore God has highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in the heaven and things in earth and things under the earth: And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.” (Php 2:9-11)
