IMMORTAL COMBAT by Pastor Paul Locke for loxland.com 21/07/2017
Contenders are good versus evil.† God is good all the time and Satan is evil.† Mankind has knowledge of good and evil a generation curse from the Garden of Eden. (Gen 3:7)† The battle is for souls a sorting of sheep from the goats. (Mtt 25:33)† In the battle Satan gets the rejects and they are sinners who are separated from God.† Sin comes through Satanís lies that temp mankind into submitting to the lusts of the flesh then becoming defined as a goat.
Immortals are the spirit and souls of mankind that live forever in the heavenly realms.† Where they live is our final destination, a spiritual invisible realm to mankind and called the Kingdom of God or the Lake of Fire a place of torment. (Rev 20:14)† Influence on earth is exerted through flesh bodies that turn into dust after death of the flesh.† Adamís power was transferred to Satan the snake who had mastered Adam. (2Pt 2:19b)† Mankind was given the choice to follow God or Satan.
Spiritual warfare is waged by mankind using Godís weapons of warfare against evil. (Eph 6:11)† Knowledge of God prevents people from perishing and knowing the wiles of the devil prevents people from being devoured. Satan is a liar and the father of lies and he is called the deceiver. (Jhn 8:44) The full armour of God is given to all Baptised in the Holy Spirit the born again believers and it is the Holy Spirit, for the battle belongs to the Lord.
Time Out is a period of time between making a final decision for God or Satan.† Hearing the Gospel brings supernatural faith to believe and sealing with a seed deposit of the Holy Spirit until redemption. (Eph 1:14) No choice has been made at this stage and redemption comes through being born again a definite choice made by asking. (Lk 11:13)† Seeing and entering the Kingdom of God by being born again is mandatory according to Jesus who said, ĎI tell you the truth, I tell youíre the truthí.
How To be Born Again, a Spiritual change is taught when Jesus was baptised in the Holy Spirit, through prayer, repentance, laying of hands by John the Baptist at the River Jordan for impartation. (Lk 3:21 & Mtt 3:11,13)† Peter and John laid hands on the Samaritans to impart the Holy Spirit and later Paul laid hands on the Ephesians. (Acts 8 & 19)† Proof that the Ephesians received is the record of the effect it had on them to work in healing, deliverance, and power.
